Teen Makeup Mini Course

Enrolments are now open for our two day school holiday makeup artistry mini course for teens aged 12 to 17. This course is designed to be fun, hands on and educational. Students will learn real industry skills in a supportive and creative environment.

Course Details:

Dates: Wednesday 17 December and Thursday 18 December 2025
Time: 8.30am to 3.30pm each day
Location: The Art of Makeup Society, Beerwah
Cost: $150 per day (Afterpay available)
What to bring: Lunch, snacks, water bottle, pen, paper and must wear enclosed shoes
We provide: All brushes, professional makeup products and disposables.

What They Will Learn:

Skin prep
Colour theory
Best product, tool and brush selection
Brow shaping and eyebrow carving
Flawless base application
Camouflage and conceal
Contour and sculpt
Blush placement
Bronzer and highlight
Eyeliner and false lash application
Socket eye technique
Glamour eye technique

Students will also get to partner up and practice these makeup skills on each other. They will watch a live demonstration of professional makeup applications each morning and then recreate the look themselves under guidance.

About the Trainer

This course is taught by Jennifer, Principal of GEM College Sapphire Campus and a qualified trainer and assessor. She has over 14 years of industry experience as a qualified makeup artist, delivers accredited training and is currently working with SPFX artists on a short film project involving zombie special effects. Jennifer is fun, energetic and passionate about teaching. She creates a welcoming environment where students feel confident, creative and inspired.

Important Information

A minimum of 6 students is required for the course to run
All products, brushes and tools are supplied
Students must bring lunch, snacks, water bottle, pen, paper and wear enclosed shoes
Digital glam guide will be emailed prior to class and a digital certificate of completion is included for every student who completes both days

 Refund Policy

• Here’s the fine print: all bookings are non-refundable. Once you’ve claimed your spot, it’s yours, no ifs, no buts, or coconuts.
• Changed your mind or double-booked with your yoga class? Sorry, no refunds here  but don’t worry, we’ve got some flexible options for you!

Exchange Policy

• We know life can get messy (like glitter in a makeup bag), so we’re happy to offer one complimentary exchange to another date, service of equal value, or even transfer your spot to someone else.
• Just let us know at least 48 hours before your original booking, and we’ll take care of it.

Additional Exchanges

• Need to make another change after your first freebie? No problem, we’ll sort it out for a $25 admin fee per change.
• Remember, though, all exchanges must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. We can’t work miracles at the last minute!

No Shows

• Forgot to show up? Got stuck binge-watching a series? We’ll miss you, but unfortunately, no-shows won’t get refunds, exchanges, or sympathy chocolate.

 General Information

• Your booking is all yours unless you decide to use your one free transfer to gift it to a friend or family member. (Sharing is beautiful, just like your makeup!)
• If we cancel or reschedule  don’t worry, we’ll either offer you a full refund or a chance to rebook on another date. No hard feelings, just good vibes and a fresh start!
• On the rare occasion we need to reschedule, we’ll keep you updated as quickly as possible.
