Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:
- 17 years of age at time of enrolment
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent, or demonstration of skills and knowledge at a similar level
- Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency, equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or higher
Applicants who have not completed Year 12, or who are under 17 years of age at the time of enrolment, may be considered on a case by case basis. Please contact us to discuss your individual circumstances prior to applying.
All applicants are required to participate in a pre-enrolment interview to assess suitability, readiness and commitment to Diploma-level study.

Every cohort begins together, creating a focused, committed group of artists who train side by side from day one. With limited places per intake, students receive direct mentorship, hands on guidance and the level of attention advanced training demands. Our half yearly intakes allow you to plan ahead, secure your place and step into professional level training with clarity and confidence
The assessments for the Diploma of Screen & Media – Specialist Makeup Services (CUA51020) are designed to ensure that each participant demonstrates competency in all unit requirements. There are assessment tasks for every Performance Criteria built into every Unit of Competency. A variety of assessment methods are utilised throughout this course which may include but are not limited to:
- Learner workbook activities

- In class observations by educators

- Case study research
All students will be required to bring their own laptop to class and source their own models for assessment days. The Art of Makeup Society are not responsible for supplying or arranging assessment models for students.
