All Levels Welcome Sunshine Coast SPFX workshop

This is a full day hands on workshop where you will sculpt, mould and run your very own encapsulated silicone prosthetic from start to finish. No theory heavy lectures, no watching from the sidelines. From the moment you walk through the door you are working.

Come with a design concept already in mind and we will get straight to it. You will sculpt your design, get it into a silicone mould and as soon as it sets we run your encapsulated silicone prosthetic together. Along the way we cover everything that separates average prosthetics from professional ones. Refining your edges, tinting and colouring your silicone and choosing the right silicone for the result you are after.

Whether you are completely new to prosthetics or looking to sharpen what you already know, this day was built for you. You will leave with a finished prosthetic in your hands, the skills to back it up and a very different understanding of what you are capable of.

THE DAY BREAKDOWN

Morning | 9am – 12pm
We hit the ground running. You will work through your design concept, start and refine your sculpture and get everything prepped and ready for moulding. This is where the foundation of your prosthetic is built and we take the time to get it right.

Midday | 12pm  12.30pm
Break. Recharge. You are going to need it.

Afternoon | 12.30pm – 5pm
We get into the moulding process, covering everything from tinting, edge refinement and running your encapsulated silicone prosthetic.  You will build your walls, pour your silicone and reveal your completed piece before you leave. During the Curing process particiapants  will get the chance to apply a small silicone prosthetic wound in anticipation to apply their own completed piece
